This policy explains how we collect, use and share personal data when you use Contract & Sign.
Account details (name, email, company, country), order and intake information, documents you upload, signature and audit data (IP address, user agent, timestamps), and payment metadata. We do not store full card numbers.
To provide the service, coordinate lawyer drafting, process payments, prevent fraud, meet legal and tax obligations, and send service messages.
Performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and consent where required (for example marketing).
We share data with the lawyer assigned to your order, payment processors, email and signature infrastructure providers, and professional advisers. Processors act under written agreements.
Executed documents and signing evidence are retained for the period required to support enforceability and legal claims. Account data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, export or delete your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Contact privacy@example.com.
Where data leaves the EEA/UK we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
We use encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging and hash-chained signing records. No system is completely secure.
Contract & Sign provides document preparation and e-signature services, not legal advice.
